Lead teacher for 3s and 2s on a daily basis. Lead teacher for creative kids afternoon program for 4s with a focus on science, math, movement and reading. Planned and engaged children with the creative curriculum on a daily basis. Managed time schedule and transitions throughout the day. Worked with children individually and as a group whether art projects, movement, science, imaginary play, reading, building, creative activities, etc.. Focused on development of social and emotional skills, cognitivie skills, fine and gross motor skills, languages skills and self-help skills. Observed and completed evaluation of each child twice per year and met with parents to review my findings. When children required special services, I would prepare all the documentation to be submitted to the school district and present the findings to the school district and the family. Interact with special education teachers, ie speech, occupational therapy or special ed teachers that worked within my classroom with a specific child. Coordinated all special activities within the classroom. Enjoyed interacting and working with the children and other teachers. ECC has a play based learning philosophy.
