Short term local travel contract

Duties include calling 9 surgical patients on a daily basis, to get them prepared for their upcoming surgeries. This includes obtaining their health history and ordering the appropriate testing needed prior to surgery.

Duties include making 30-50 calls daily to recently discharged patients from Carle Foundation Hospital, to evaluate their customer service while they were in the hospital or seen in the Emergency Department

Duties include making 20-30 phone calls daily to patients 72 hours post-discharge from Presbyterian Hospital and out-lying hospitals in rural New Mexico. Assisted with patient education/reviewing discharge instructions/assisting with follow up appointment scheduling/case management and care coordination issues using EPIC/EMR.

Staff Nurse-General Medical Unit 2/Adult Progressive Care Unit 1& 2. Duties include the assessment and care of 4-6 adult patients, including patients requiring telemetry. Acts as Relief Charge RN for all 3 units. Participated in several Unit Based Steering Committee Meetings for all 3 units.

Care and assessment of 2-4 high risk OB Antepartum/Post Partum patients.

Duties included the development and deployment of appropriate health services and monitoring programs for 300 students in a K-5 grade school setting.

Duties included coordination of patient discharges, home healthcare services, and durable medical equipment. Experienced in working with all age groups.

Duties included front-line managerial support for a 20-bed unit consisting of high-risk OB patients.

Contracted employee working on the IMC Unit. Duties include the care of 3-4 critically ill patients

On-call position with the University of New Mexico Neonatal Transport Team. Assisting the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with the assessment and care of neonates, via air or ground transport, throughout the state of New Mexico.
