About Janine Pickering

I am a co-founder of War on Wasted Talent, a social enterprise focused on supporting experienced professionals 45+ who want to stay and thrive in the workforce. WoWT provides practical resources and workshops for people making a career transition or starting a business. We advocate for an age-inclusive workplace and provide a platform for employers to connect with these experienced professionals.My role at WOWT builds on over twenty years as an independent management consultant working with individuals, teams, and organisations to design and implement positive workplace change. Since starting my own consultancy in 2000, I have completed and implemented over thirty successful organisational reviews. My work has spanned the higher education, research, biotech, manufacturing, retail and community sectors. Everything I do is grounded in purposeful conversations and a commitment to equity, inclusion and productivity.
