Managed one of the largest rare book collections in an American public library, containing rare and valuable printed books, manuscripts, and works on paper and parchment from the ancient world through the 20th century. Worked to highlight and advocate for the department's extraordinary treasures.

As a parent of children attending the School of Rock in its original Philadelphia location, I saw the potential of this amazing program and convinced my husband that we should throw caution to the wind and open up our own school. In 2004 we, along with a partner, opened a school in Bucks County, becoming one of the first four licensees of a business that now boasts schools all over the country as well as Mexico.
