MissionThe Miss Killeen Pageant has been established for the purpose of providing personal and professional opportunities for the positive young women of Killeen, while promoting their voice in culture, politics, and community awareness. With the growth of Killeen, we need role-models that represent our growth with professionalism. We also need a forum where young and ambitious women can be recognized and rewarded for their achievements. As the annual Miss Killeen Pageant, it is our goal to allow our young women to express their viewpoints, talents, and accomplishments. The pageant will provide an opportunity for the community to be aware of the positive works of its members.Killeen has already established a forum for athletic role-models through newspapers and award banquets; where positive athletes receive recognition that motivates them to go and do greater things like Tommy Harrison of the Chicago Bears or Roy Miller of the University of Texas. This pageant will not only develop a motivation for positive role-models, but also develop a role to achieve. The Miss Killeen Pageant is dedicated to teaching young women the essential elements of life through pageantry. It will provide an opportunity to attend training and education workshops in modeling, poise, posture, interview, communications, networking and self-awareness to the young women in Killeen and surrounding counties.
