I have spent 30 years in grocery retail. I want to learn new things, and find new a new path or paths to follow. In 2012 I joined the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, pursuing my love of photography and volunteering for Chamber events and festivals. I was also named Arts and Crafts Chairman for A Taste of Edmonds and am staff photographer for the event as well. I am hoping to find a position in the visual and audio communications field as that is where my interest is. There is so much to learn and do in that field. I also have experience in radio, banking, clothing and general merchandise retail management and as an expense report auditor for Boeing in Everett. 2012 also brought another exciting adventure for me, Community Reporter and Photographer for Edmonds KOMO, an extension of KOMO Broadcasting, Seattle.Specialties: I have taken and passed Civil Service Test. I specialize in working with all types of people in many situations. I work well with special needs children/young adults. I am also writing 2 books in my spare time, researching my family trees (Janineaology), taking voice-over lessons, working with digital photography and getting back into painting and sketching. In 2013 I plan on advancing my photography skills by taking some college courses. I also earned my pharmacy assistant certificate.
