About Janine Mcglone

As an HR Business Partner, I contribute towards the HR function and provide support to over 700 colleagues. Allied Vehicles is proud of its approachable, straightforward and collaborative style of working. Our staff share our values and commitment to providing outstanding client service. My HR journey started with studying at New College Lanarkshire and at UWS over 5 years. I graduated with an Honours degree on 4 July 2017 and started my Allied journey the day after. Since then I have strived to learn all areas within the HR function. I started as an HR interim became an HR administrator six months later, I then progressed to an HR Advisor role and have recently adopted an HR Business Partner role. Learning and understanding all areas of the business and getting to know the workforce has played a major part in my success. This has helped me become a perfect fit as I have a vast understanding of the business and can stand in or step up when necessary.Allied Vehicles Group is the UK’s leading supplier of adapted and special purpose vehicles. Allied also operates Scotland’s largest independent Bodyshop and also offers a range to garage services to insurance. Allied has a nationwide reputation for ensuring quality, value and customer satisfaction. This is all achieved through the dedication and drive of our people. Allied Vehicles have also recently launce Allied PPE and helping to play it’s part in tackling the COVID pandemic.At Allied we truly move people and make a difference to their lives. Working at Allied Vehicles can be challenging and fast paced yet motivating. There are lots of good people and we are all made to feel part of the family.
