I have owned my own planning and coordination business for weddings and events since 2014. I served as House Event Coordinator and Office Manager for the Kuttawa Harbor House until it closed and was sold in June of 2019. During this period through present, I have also worked as a Software Support & Training Specialist and Senior Subject Matter Expert. Currently, I am employed as a furniture Sales Consultant.I was certified as a BSA/AML Professional by ICBA in September of 2007 and worked in banking for 17 years; initially as a Customer Service Rep, then in Operations with CD’s and IRA’s, followed by working as an Executive Assistant to the EVP and finally serving as BSA/ AML/ OFAC Officer and Fraud Investigator. Prior to these ventures, I was a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Director of Rehabilitation. During this period, I worked primarily with the adult population in hospital, nursing home and home health environments. I worked for one school year as Speech-Language Pathologist and Preschool HeadStart Director for the Marshall County School System.I have broad industry experience including but not limited to Office Management, Banking, Bank Secrecy Act, Compliance, Fraud Investigation, Teaching/Corporate Training and Public Speaking, Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders, Healthcare, Administrative Assistant, Managerial, Data Entry, Customer Service and Marketing.I would describe myself as meticulous, responsible and self-directed. I love to learn new things and expand on my current knowledge as well. I enjoy working independently but find working with a team to be equally as enjoyable. I am good with managing my time and prioritizing tasks. I have experience working remotely from home with my wedding coordination business and as a Support and Training Specialist.
