I am curious and positive by nature, I have strong leadership skills and I am detail oriented, without being a micro-manager. I trust my team to be the experts in their respective areas and see my role as a manager, predominately as a motivator and leader, without letting go of quality and performance. As a manager, I strive to continue learning and expanding my knowledge, as well as the team’s collective expertise and capabilities. Having a diverse team, is to me a pre-requisite to succeed and realise that vision. I have a proven record as line manager over a wide range of competences ranging from junior engineers, to experienced project managers and experts. Having directly managed a wide variety of civilian and defence-related projects, I thoroughly understand the challenges and trade-offs that are sometimes necessary, and how to balance team and stakeholder expectations to achieve the best possible outcome.
