Janis DeGregory is the owner and fearless leader of JD & Associates Realtors. She offers experience, compassion, and a knack for finding solutions to complex transactions. Janis has both personal and professional experience in helping families with probate and estate planning. During the 2008 financial crisis, she became known as the Short Sale Queen of southeastern Michigan. Janis built a team dedicated to processing transactions to allow homeowners to sell their home for less than what was owed to the bank and avoid foreclosure. She is so grateful for the relationships built and families saved during the Great Recession. In 2012 Janis opened a real estate brokerage of her own and recently moved into a brand new office in Chesterfield Twp. The new space is more conducive to hosting events with the Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce as well as facilitating customer interactions. Janis spends most of her time developing and mentoring her team of Realtors. During her down time, you will likely find Janis boating somewhere on Lake St. Clair with her husband or spending time with family.
