I studied Mechanical and Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. During this time, I also spent a semester abroad in Finland. This enabled me to work together with students from all over the world.Until February 2020, I was a Trainee Supply Chain at Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP). The 17 months long program gave me the opportunity to get to know numerous sites and departments, complete projects there and build a broad network within the supply chain of CCEP in Germany and Europe. As of March 2020, I started as a Production Expert in Dorsten, Germany's largest production site. I execute technical projects in different areas. I played the significant role in designing and building the upgrades in the syrup room, in regard to process technology. Right now, besides smaller projects, I am taking care of the installation of a new can production line at our site.Parallel to my job, I was as a Continuous Improvement Manager and was given the opportunity to complete additional trainings in Management and Leadership.I speak German as my mother tongue and am fluent in English both spoken and written on C2 level.

Master ThesisChair Of Fluid Process Engineering - Rwth Aachen Oct 2017 - Mar 2018Kreisfreie Stadt Aachen Area, GermanyIn this work a sensitivity analysis in CFD was performed. It was examined how far different settings in CFD affect the system behaviour of a compartment model simulation. In the course of the work, I worked with Ansys Fluent as well as Matlab. I programmed a function for the sedimentation of droplets and implemented it into the system architecture. Additionally, an iterative coupling step of the results given by the compartment model was performed.

Bachelor'S ThesisInstitute For Chemical Process Engineering - Rwth Aachen Apr 2016 - Jun 2016Kreisfreie Stadt Aachen Area, GermanyTitle: Hydrotropic solutions make electro-catalyst choice independent from pH value for lignin depolymerisationDuring the work the electrochemically catalysed depolymerisation of Lignin was examined. This is nowadays mostly carried out in sodium hydroxyde. The alkaline environment can however have a negative effect on product formation. Therefore hydrtotropic solutions were used as solvents and the experiments were carried out at different pH-values and with different electrode materials and after that analysed quantitatively.

Engineering InternBayer Pharmaceuticals Apr 2015 - Sep 2015Wuppertal Area, GermanyI was an intern in the engineering department of the largest production plant at Bayer Wuppertal. As part of my tasks I participated in round trips addressing optimisation issues, prepared presentations for meetings for the production planning, was involved in daily maintenance and repair works and supported a project for the installation of a new exhaust air scrubber, as well as the planning and execution of a campaign for the characterisation of aeration stirrers. -
Project WorkInstitute For Automotive Engineering - Rwth Aachen Jan 2015 - Mar 2015Kreisfreie Stadt Aachen Area, GermanyTitle: Analysis and modeling of a PEM fuel cell system for automotive applicationA series of experiments was carried out using a PEM fuel cell system.Based on these experiments a model was implemented in MATLAB Simulink describing the control behaviour of the system. The goal is to improve the use of fuel cell technology in automotive application. -
Research AssistantMechanical Process Engineering - Rwth Aachen Oct 2013 - Jan 2015Kreisfreie Stadt Aachen Area, GermanyMy main task was the simulation of high-temperature processes by the use of CFD simulation software. Additionally, I participated in a measurement campaign at an industrial rotary kiln plant as well as the execution of laboratory scale experiments and the analysis of samples gathered from the industrial plant and the laboratory scale experiments.
