Also the primary interface for the AVA Timber joint venture for all client matters.Key responsibilities include:- Timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes under US GAAP and NZ IFRS - Plan and manage the external audit for the annual financial statements alongside external auditors - Manage the lease accounting system under NZ IFRS and US GAAP - Manage financial reporting for all MF's joint ventures - Manage completion of annual NZ income tax, GST, WHT and NRWT returns - Manage treasury reporting - Oversee and provide coaching, assistance and direction to the Accounting team - Ensure SOX compliance - Key member of projects and system upgrades from a finance perspective

Establish all cash and accounting processes for a new timber export joint venture, AVA Timber. As the sole accountant, be responsible for all cash payments and receipts, as well as receipts distribution and oncharging processes and all cashflow requirements. Maintain strong relationships with all JV clients as well as internal service team members. Provide assistance for the Financial Controller and CEO as needed.
