Pilseta24.lv (Valmiera24.lv, Cesis24.lv, Ogre24.lv etc.) was created as a new type of hyperlocal information and services platform in Latvia with editorial and user-generated content. It consisted of 31 interconnected sites, each with its own domain name. Sites included local news, events calendar, classifieds, forums, company listings, community and much more. By creating scalable content, marketing, and technological strategy, it was possible to expand fast and deliver quality content and experience even in the smallest cities of the country.– Creating a concept, user interface design, information architecture, content strategy;– Working with software developers, testing and controlling the quality of implementation;– Working with editorial and community management people to adjust guidelines and ensure proper execution;– Analyzing and improving user flows to provide excellent user experience;– Developing and optimizing features for boosting the creation of user-generated content;– Preparing all types of textual information including microcopy, help instructions, legal and promotional texts;– Conducting user research to understand potential directions of development;– Creating and maintaining brand image and guidelines.

Lintech – company which developed localized Linux version called Amber Linux especially for Latvian market as an efficient, safer and affordable alternative to MS Windows. Later for distribution and demonstration purposes, Lintech opened a specialized shop and internet club to promote and showcase Amber Linux operating system as a serious alternative.– Designing graphical user interface elements for Amber Linux OS;– Designing print and digital promotional materials for product and company;– Maintaining a brand's visual image;– Participating in the creation of interior design for shop, internet club and exhibition stand;– Working on the company's website;– Working on various website projects for clients.
