The Colorado Ag News Network is an agriculture news radio syndicate. CANN is dedicated to the agriculture news industry, striving not only to keep agriculturalists informed on current news but helping to create awareness about the importance of the agriculture industry as a whole. I was proud to help facilitate these reports through interviewing industry professionals and politicians, creating scripts based off of these interviews, and recording and editing these reports for distribution to a variety of stations who understood and appreciated the need for agriculture industry news. -Conducted in depth interviews with various agriculture entities-Edited these interviews to create daily 3-minute agriculture news reports-Wrote daily news scripts-Developed and maintained important relationships with various state and regional agriculture entities-Developed and maintained relations with current advertisers-Sold on air spots to new advertisers-Developed and produced ads for clients-Maintained website including report uploads for distribution to stations

Without advertisers there can be no radio! As an avid radio listener I took this to heart knowing that I had an important duty to be apart of the workforce that helps keep the radio industry funded and thriving. This is also where my very first marketing roots began by working with various clients to create effective radio ads that reflected their brand message. Here I wrote ads and recorded and edited them and strived to facilitate a positive collaboration between Northeast Colorado Broadcasting and our advertisers.
