To create a completely new bus body steel structure with high-strength steel utilization to fulfill the new tight legal demands but with minimal added cost to the product price. 2&3 To create 2 totally new Volvo 9700DD double-decker vehicles that we created for Volvo Buses – the first Volvo branded double-decker buses for the whole Europe! These 2 projects were really challenging because of the missing knowledge of the double-decker bus requirements and design, some specific technical challenges and from the driveability & handling point of view. However, we were able to outcome all the obstacles and these vehicles are now really much praised by our end-customers.

💎 Main task was to lead multisite R&D projects and design teams from Finland, China and India. 💎 The main project was to create a completely new loader as a global multi-site project utilizing the time zone differences and other benefits from decentralized resources. I handed over this project after I decided to change the company I was working for.

💎 Project Manager for NPD, Research and Technological Development Projects. 💎 Principal engineer for cabins and operator environment💎 In charge of the external design and project resources, testing and verification. 💎 One of the biggest successes was the completely new cabin for the Sandvik’s biggest dumber, I was the project manager from the start to the end and the cabin was highly thanked and it is still in production after all these years. 💎 Other highlight was a research project where I was the project manager. In this project we created the 1st Sandvik loader with battery-electric powerline. This has proven to be the winning concept during the last years as the underground mining machines are going more and more into the battery-powered solutions.💎 During this time, I also made my Master's thesis work in co-operation with Laurentian University in Canada.
