    The aim of my internship was to set up a service for employees who should achieve a better combination of work and private (employee benefits). The objectives were to help local retailer(s), enhance the image of Ericcson and provide additional employee benefits. My research results showed that employees had lost a lot of time with shopping after work. That's why I came to the conclusion that a shopping service had to be set up. Together with Albert Heijn (Netherlands, Tilburg) an online shopping service was created. All shopping goods were delivered at a local Shell station. Shell did this for free, with the hope that the employees/visitors also would do (impulse) purchases (buying chewing gum, gas/fuel) while picking up their order. This service was a great success for Ericsson. Later, my idea rolled out nationwide by Albert Heijn. In the Netherlands everyone knows the delivery cars of AH To Go. It has become a million € business for Albert Heijn.
