As a process consultant Jan is responsible for several aspects of Service Activation of new (or to be improved) cloud services. He designs and implements the service delivery processes and tests them before handing over to BAU (Business as usual). He advices IT management if a new service is fit for going into production and supports that with evidence (documentation, test reports).Implementation of public cloud service is different from traditional service delivery because the public cloud hyperscaler has a role. Therefore we start with the scoping of work, which results in a clear service description. Next step is then the implementation of the service: setup DevOps team, install GIT and pipelines and take care of the Ops side.
