Jan joined Traidlinks, an Irish not-for-profit company with a vision to diminish poverty in developing countries by inspiring, supporting and promoting enterprise and contributing sustainably and equitably to local and world trade. As a consultant, Jan evaluated suitable companies in Uganda, carried out the necessary due diligence and organised mentoring.

Jan left Novum to set up Seaglobal, an International trading company supplying DIY and electrical multiples worldwide. As co-founder responsible for business development and marketing, Jan built sigificant accounts with pan-European multiple retail chains, including Homebase, Dixons, Focus DIY (UK), Intermarche (France), Bauhaus (Germany), negotiating.
