Tradeweb acquired BondDesk in November 2013.• I advised the executive team of the company, for a period of three months post-closing, on integration and transition matters related to Product Management, Strategy, and Ventures.

BondDesk Group is the leading odd-lot fixed-income electronic marketplace and provider of software solutions to traders and financial advisors.The company was acquired by Tradeweb in 2013.As a Senior MD, I had several functional and business unit roles which reported to the CEO and/or board. Simultaneously I was President and CEO of two wholly owned BondDesk subsidiaries.MEMBER OF THE OPERATING & EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES• The company was managed on a day to day basis by the operating committee and the executive committee throughout my time there. HEAD OF STRATEGY AND INNOVATION• Responsible for rethinking the company’s business model as a response to continued low interest rates, flat market volumes, clients under financial pressure, and aggressive competition. HEAD OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT • Brought a product-centric approach and discipline to a company previously driven by software development, enabling it to more effectively respond to the changing marketplace. Built out and managed a team of product managers and business analysts.HEAD OF VENTURES • Formed and managed a group responsible for exploring and identifying new sources of revenue from underutilized or non-traditional assets, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions. HEAD OF INTEGRATION SERVICES, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, AND TIER TWO SUPPORT • Tasked to turn around and then manage a critical but underperforming group which provided multiple services internally and externally. PRESIDENT AND CEO – TIPS, LLC• Acquired by BondDesk in 2001. • I continued as CEO and President after BondDesk’s acquisition. Operated the company as a functionally independent but wholly owned subsidiary.PRESIDENT AND CEO – TECHHACKERS• The company was acquired by BondDesk in 2005. • I was responsible for all aspects of the purchase of the company by BondDesk, its functional integration into BondDesk’s other analytics subsidiary and its continued operation.

TIPS, Inc. was created to help the securities industry standardize the valuation and analysis of fixed income securities, the company’s primary product is the “Standard Securities Calculations Software Library.” The software library provides calculation routines for valuation and analysis of domestic, foreign developed and emerging market fixed income securities to developers of in-house and commercial systems. The company was acquired by BondDesk in 2001.• I founded TIPS, Inc. in 1987 and built the company from a startup to the exclusive developer and provider of the “industry standard” fixed income analytics solution ("Standard Securities Calculation Software Library") endorsed by the major financial services trade association.
