Currently the Vice President of the Mayshad Group, an enterprise of brands for women, by women, Jan is responsible for launching products and services that champion women and the companies, initiates and causes that support gender equality in the workplace. She is the producer and host of Mayshad’s original episodic series: Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Women & Money.Her front-line, “getting close to the customer” approach has well-served a 20+ year, C-Suite career spanning operational restructuring, change management, strategic planning, business development, go-to-market launches, and infrastructure development. Jan founded SWIG, a business consultancy and branding agency, and 6-Figures, a networking ecosystem for NYC’s highly accomplished professional women. Additionally, Jan served in C-Suite and senior management roles in companies and organizations as diverse as Folio Investing, Plum Alley, Teach For America and Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation. Before launching her own practice, Jan was the CFO of International Planned Parenthood.Jan speaks publicly on topics ranging from gender inclusion and equity, early stage fundraising, business development & networking, and building a brand. She served on all seven nomination committees for SmartCEO Magazine's annual award series. In 2016, she was named to WeWork's Top 40 Over 40 Entrepreneurs.
