- Part of a collaborative research project between the City of Los Angeles & NASA to utilize machine learning to predict the spatiotemporal air pollution levels and wildfire risk in LA County- Used a ConvLSTM model to forecast PM 2.5 and various other metrics of air pollution while using data from various NASA satellites including MODIS, MAIC, and ground based meteorological data- Scaled model to fit areas outside of LA County including the San Francisco Bay Area, Sydney and New Delhi to provide valuable insights to policymakers and public health officials.

CITI® University Partnerships In Innovation & Discovery (CUPID)- Worked on a Data Science Capstone Project to detect underbanked areas of the United States using foundational data analysis methods. - Developed a machine learning Light GBM classifier model to predict how underbanked areas would change over the course of the next 5 years.- Designed a solution that explored aspects of a Fraudulent Loan Detection Software to prevent attacks by payday loan companies in underserved areas.
