Duties and Responsibilities1. Design Electrical Plan- Design single line diagram, lighting, power, equipment and wiring layout in AutoCAD.- Calculate branch circuit, feeder, services, voltage drop, electrical load analysis, transformer rating, and generator rating.- Do the sizing of overcurrent protection, equipment grounding, cables and conduit.- Draw as-found plan of existing electrical system in AutoCAD for future reference.- Prepare scope of work of electrical design plans for contractor reference during construction.- Design protection for broadcast electronic equipment.2. Cost Estimate and Bid Evaluation of Electrical Construction Projects- Do the costing of electrical construction projects for budgeting- Technically evaluate contractors bid based on the design and materials 3. AC analysis of Critical Electrical Systems- Create an AC analysis of existing broadcast system that requires upgrade and make a recommendation (design) based on the analysis of electrical loads4.
