I am a long-time webtechnology specialist. Started my career about 30 year agoas a chemist, introducing educational courseware and computer science into the universitycurriculum.After that I left chemistry and started developing new media productions (Cd-Romand Cd-interactive).When the internet started to become available to the general public(mid-nineties) I immediately fell in love with the endless possibilities of it.A love that lasts until the current day.At Atos Origin I introduced webtechnology into instructiontechnology, groupware and other means of interactive communication.In 2001 I started a new company (Pareto), together with some colleagues.I was convinced of the great possibilities of Open Source software and starteda separate branch of the company based on open source python technology (Zope,Plone and Django) and Linux.After a 1.5 year intermezzo as Lead Architect at Virtual Sciences, continuingon the road of python-based open source webframeworks, I am now self-employed,doing web projects (Django, Flask, Pyramid, Angular, Google AppEngine) and exploring NoSQL databases and python-based data-analysis.Focus: Webtech. development and consultancy and Machine Learning.
