As the Founder and CEO of Humanitarian Data Solutions, started over six years ago, my expertise lies in trying to use data and technology ethically to underpin & support humanitarian programmes. Harnessing my engineering background and systems thinking, I'm trying to help broaden digital literacy across local and international humanitarian teams. Previously, as Head of Operations at Emerging Leaders and on the senior management team at Medair's Middle East Regional Team, I developed my ability to design global support & M&E systems, finance systems, and automated data systems. Now, I love working alongside organisations such as World Vision, Tearfund, the IFRC and British Red Cross to spearhead initiatives that empower field workers with data-centric skills and tools, and bring that learning to global aid workers for accountability in delivering aid worldwide.
