I'm Jannah Beth, a dedicated music artist, advocate and the Founder and Director of Offbeat Collective - an evolving music hub based in Marrickville, Sydney. Offbeat HQ boasts six music production rooms that I spent most of lockdown building by hand with Co-Founder Drew Bisset. Ever since we’ve offered studios to hundreds of artists and overtime our vision to create a space for artists to collaborate, network and feel belonging has come to fruition. In 2023 I spearheaded the creation of ONE OFF TRAKS alongside an all-star team made up of Nazlican Eren, Carolina De La Piedra & Minori Ueda, now in our second year we continue to develop and support female, trans & non-binary songwriters and producers through our platform. WATCH THIS SPACE!During my tenure as the A&R and Project Manager at Elefant Traks, I played a pivotal role in shaping the label's roster and creative direction. I facilitated collaborations, provided studio support, took care of Sync and implemented vital processes to the labels functions. Prior to that, I served as the Head of Music Design at Mood Media, where I curated playlists and engineered in-store messaging for renowned brands. My strong music knowledge and understanding of brand culture allowed me to create sound identities that resonated with diverse audiences. Before this I contributed significantly to Year13, where I worked closely with the Department of Education and a number of school career counsellors. This role provided me with the opportunity to tour NSW and present 'The Truth Project' to 10,000+ students over 50 high schools. My diverse skill set includes songwriting, music & event programming, talent development, project management, creative producing and strong networking & partnerships.I've had the privilege of speaking as a panelist at SXSW, where I discussed "Hip-Hop: How A Generation Is Changing The World", shedding light on the transformative power of music culture in society. I’m currently an Observer on ARIA’s board and completing an ASIC training program to understand further systems of governance, risk, finance and all the fun stuff…Additionally, I've worked closely with many talented artists in a project management capacity and have an open door policy for listening & learning in any way I can.In these uncertain industry times I’m even more passionate about driving positive change in the music landscape.
