As one of two interior designers, I acquired extensive expertise in the technical aspects of design and construction, particularly on large- scale renovation and new construction projects spanning education, public, and municipal sectors. My responsibilities included detailed documentation of interior and specialty fabrication, as well as specifying and facilitating the furniture procurement process with dealers and manufacturers. Project lead during the construction administration phases for interiors, while taking a hands-on role of the sole contact for renovation work.

“Educating Change: Latina Activism and the Struggle for Educational Equity”Responsibilities included: Working with Brown University Student Curators, with given research, presented graphically and spatially the fight for bilingual education through the experiences of three extraordinary Latina women. Conceptualized and executed exhibit graphics, including exhibit display panels, wallcovering, and marketing print.“Intimacy and Isolation in Providence”Responsibilities included: Working with the Directors at the John Nicholas Brown Center, with given research, presented graphically, spatially, and audibly the oral histories of fifteen distinct, underground artists in the Rhode Island area. Conceptualized and executed exhibit graphics, including exhibit display panels, audio and lighting concepts, and marketing print.
