In addition to volunteering with Make a Wish, the Alameda County Food Bank and the Berkeley Humane Society, I worked to bring federal funding to my community by helping to implement the 2020 US Census. Next I followed my passion for children and literacy to undertake a year of service with Americorps with Reading Partners. After my Americorps year I continued to serve as a tutor for Reading Partners and also work as a Site Coordinator for Writer Coach Connection working with middle school students and volunteers. I also work part time for Five Little Monkeys - an exceptional small business bringing joy and toys to bay area families.
