I am responsible for strategic purchasing in building materials and vendor management. This includes availability and demand forecasting, sourcing, contract negotiating and category management as well tendering and product management. I was sourcing expert in our ERP project.

I was responsible of 8 person group of category sourcing managers. They were responsible for customer-oriented category work, supplier management and contract negotiating, strategic buying and planning. I was involved in strategic planning of S-Group’s hardware business. Along with my own action, I was responsible of running business of a B2B company S-Yrityspalvelu Oy, that sells and conveys materials to nationwide and big areal building companies and some independent hardware stores (since 06/2013 -).

Part of my work was to plan and document operating processes within Hardware chain management. I was part of executive team in Hardware business, also a member in Logistical Steering group, who was steering S-Group’s logistical operations. My responsible was to build processes and models how LahiTapiola could concentrate their spending’s in construction damages (covered by insurance) to S-Group.

My main task was to create working processes within our hardware chain management organisation. We merged purchasing and category personels into one organisation and job descriptions changed from pure buyers or category manager to category sourcing manager. I was responsible for logistical operations (Espoo and Hämeenlinna), supplier negotiations, purchasing of client terminals and network components to local tele- and data operator. I was also responsible for sourcing of supporting services, like waste, energy etc.

I was responsible for purchasing, logistics, store support operations and subscribtion center operations. Process development and implementation was very big part of my job. I worked part of the executive team from November 2000 – end 2003. I was also Facility Manager and responsible to negotiate the local service contracts like waste, energy, cleaning. I was the main user of our ERP system.

I was responsible for purchasing, inventory, logistics and IT systems. I was responsible for implementing two different IT systmes and operated as main user and trainer. Process development and implementation was very important. I was responsible for all the purchases into the company. Support to sales personel. We had every 6 month purchase planning meeting with my colleges from Scandinavian coutries. Was part of the finnish exectuvie team all the time.
