My work assignments as a teacher include teaching welding, sheet metal engineering, 3D- designing, additive manufacturing, pneumatics and vocational theory. Vocational theory includes work safety, welding theory, technical drawing and how to use sheet metal machinery such as press brake, shear, CNC- plasma cutter, rounding machine and welding robot. My other work assignments include working as a welding coordinator of the school, being a secretary of the mechanical engineering departments advisory board, taking care of sheet metal and welding workshops, development of sheet metal and welding workshops and their equipment, material handling (raw materials, gases, fillers, replacement parts, tools, working clothes etc.) and taking part in different development projects in the school.

My main work assignments included material handling and improving productivity in sheet metal production. I was also pre-pricing products based on their material usage and manufacturing time, calculating needed workforce and materials based on orders, checking employees working hours, working with reclamations and communicating with customers and material- and tooling suppliers.

My work assignments included welding and assembly of garbage presses and containers as a part of making my thesis which was a payback time estimation of welding robot cell. I took part in the negotiations with different robot suppliers (Yaskawa, ABB and Finnrobotics) as well.
