Our main field at TBR Media was communications related to sports and my main responsibility was to manage and lead the daily work of our editors. We produced multichannel content, communications and content marketing for our customers (Veikkausliiga.com, Viasat, Ruutu, Liiga, Supla, etc.). I also actively planned and executed content production in the social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) of the Finnish National Football Teams (Huuhkajat & Helmarit).As Managing Editor I was also responsible for rota planning and HR for our full time editors and filling needs through our extensive network of freelancers.

I was the manager of about a dozen sports editors working for MTV Sports online department. My main tasks were planning the news content creation and leading the daily operations. I made sure we reached our goals, analysed data, produced live broadcasts on breaking news events, administrated MTV Sport’s social media accounts, etc. I also represented sports at MTV Newsroom’s superdesk.

As an MTV.fi Frontpage editor my task was to put on display the best content on the site and maximizing traffic with creative headlines, pictures etc. I also searched for potential hit material for different departments and wrote stories and news myself.As a Sports Editor I wrote stories, edited and translated news, was a ghost-writer for the most popular blog on the site and did news inserts for television.

I worked as a Research Assistant on a big project on past cartels in Finland. The project combined economic history and economics and was funded by the Finnish Academy. My main task was going through the Finnish Cartel Register (over 1600 cases) in the archives. I produced a digital database for economists in the project and analysed the data according to international models. I also presented an article on the evolution of Finnish cartel legislation with Professor Susanna Fellman in an international conference in Geneva 2007.

I worked as an Intern in the department of economic policy. My main tasks were part of a government project studying the competitiveness of Finnish service markets. After analysing statistical data, I wrote a report on concentration of service branches in Finland between 1994 and 2004. I also wrote a report concerning the relationship between regulation and productivity in retail sales. I also acted as a secretary in a working committee on immigrant entrepreneurs.
