I was working as a Project Manager at Ramboll Finland Oy and I'm responsible of small and mid-sized structural engineering projects. My projects are both new construction and renovation projects and includes all the commonly used materials.

I was working as a structural engineering trainee at Ramboll Finland Oy 11.4.2016-01.01.2021 along my studies. My tasks involved structural designing and geometrical modelling with Tekla Structures or Auto-CAD and used different calculation software where necessary. I was responsible of designing different kinds and size of projects with all the commonly used materials (wood, steel, timber). During the summer times I was also deputizing the project manager of multiple projects and therefore I was in charge of the structural design projects during the summer times. I did a lot of industrial design and reconstruction design but also new building designing, precast designing and some smaller projects including structural designs for a detached house. I mostly worked independently under the supervision and guidance of my project manager. Usually I was in charge of the design with the help and support of my experienced project manager and the project manager was in charge of the administrative and the supportive and guidance side. During my trainee period I got a wide overview to different types of structural designing projects and gained a lot of practical knowledge about structural engineering, detail planning, different engineering software, client meetings, site inspections and some knowledge about project management.

I was responsible of reviewing excersices made with SCIA FEM software.

My tasks involved all the assignments that were related to concreting such as preparation of concreting sites and finishing the surface of concrete. I was mainly responsible for compacting wet concrete. I worked in many construction sites all over southern Finland in varying types of castings. Castings were mainly first-class structure concretings. I operated during the summertime 6/2013-9/2013 and 5/2014-9/2014.

I was responsible for the geometric modelling of Tapiola Keskuspysäköinti with Tekla Structures software. I did dimensional drawings and I modified the structural model to be similar to architect design. I worked 10-20 hours a week along with my other job in Etelä-Suomen Imubetoni Oy.

I worked during the summer time 6/2011-7/2011 and 6/2012-7/2012. I operated as construction worker and I constructed green areas and school yards. 2012 I was involved in the construction of Saunalahti schoolyard and 2011 Kannisto school yard.
