I was a key member and a founder in a team turning a traditional recruiting agency (M2Talent Oy) into an innovative digital startup. We created a unique digital application for job hunting and career planning called Mazhr. A seven-year startup stint has taken me to ministries, negotiations with local employment agencies, co-operation with universities and labor unions, learning from accelerators, pitching for investors, seeking successfully public funding. During the journey, I served in several roles, as CEO, COO, Director of Product Development, Career Coach and Board member according the need of the startup.

Vice president, Enterprise ICT-Services. Responsible for SME-business and B2B distribution channels and subsidiaries (Datainfo). During the period first time ever the subscription growth of SME customers exeeded the growth in consumer market.

P&L responsibility of Telia Sonera Finlands largest business unit, consumer customers. Mobile services, Broadband, Fixed connections and Internet services (Plaza, Huuto.net). internal and external distribution channels (Telering, Päämies) and B2B subsdiaries (Datainfo, Sonera Living). Member of TeliaSonera Finland management team and TeliaSonera Corporations Global Consumer council. P&L responsibility for + 900 mEur business. Close to 1500 employees. Once again we were first in the world, this time our team launched the world first commercial 3G services.

Responsibility on Soneras consumer business Mobile, broadband and fixed line connections and internet services. At this position the goal was to restructure and integrate three independent and partly competing business areas into a one cost efficient business unit, harmonize the customer experience and redevelop the organization and create efficient sales operations into OneSonera mode. Secondary target was to prepare the corporations largest business unit to merger with Telia.

Vice president responsible for sales and marketing on mobile consumer market. Main task was maximize cash flow, market share and number of mobile subscriptions during the challenging post dot-com bubble period. We created a credible and concrete vision of a mobile world and communicated it boldly with success.

Responsible for consumer mobile business, sales, marketing and distribution channels. During the period Sonera won two GSM Associations Growth Awards of best regional growth. That made our team double word champions of mobile sales - proud of the magnificent dream team. Organization also launched worlds first mobile portal and worlds first public WAP-services.

Responsible for mobile subscription (NMT + GSM) sales on worlds fastest penetration growing mobile market. During this period Finland reached number one position on worlds mobile penetration statistics (November 1998)

I was in charge of mobile subscriptions sales on NMT450, NMT900 and new GSM network. Strategic goal was leading the customer migration from analog services to digital services and winning and maintaing the market leader position in GSM subscriptions. Chairman of pan Nordic NMT marketing council. After gaining market leadership in GSM subscriptions and dominance on distribution channels the company maintained its position 18 years until 2008. The foundation for lasting success was created during these years

Responsible for sales and marketing of NMT450 and NMT900 mobile services and subscriptions. Launch of worlds first GSM services and subscriptions 1.7.2001. Responsible for the operative competitive operations while old monopoly, mobile business was opened for competition first time nationally. I created a state-of-the-art affiliate program that secured a distribution channel dominance for PPT Finland for years to come.

Responsible for distribution channel recruiment, development and other partnerhips. Part of the team that accepted the "impossible vision". One day every finn will have a personal mobile phone". We believed in it and we did it.
