My primary duties are to apply Industrial Engineering principles and Lean Six Sigma to operational challenges/problems/pain points, address capacity, flow and resource concerns, and try to achieve overall process efficiency within cost constraints. Specifically, I typically help define project scope, measure and analyze problems/challenges, propose and test solutions with a series of modeling and analysis, implement and sustain solutions with proper transition plan and change management support. During the project delivery, I also need to develop critical relationships with both internal teams and external clients in order to provide most immediate help to the project team, as well as the distinctive, lasting, and substantial improvement solutions for the client. To successfully deliver the project work, I developed proficient analytical skills in the manipulation of large data sets and complex models. Typical tools used include but not limited to: simulation modeling, capacity modeling, statistical analysis, risk analysis and queuing theory. In addition, I'm continuously growing my critical and strategic thinking skills, effective communication and facilitation, and presentation skills to assure smooth project delivery. I also travel to client locations to gather information, conduct interviews and studies, facilitate workshops and improvement events, present findings and solutions, as well as help implement and sustain operational improvements.
