As a Clinical Research Coordinator at Oculus Research, I have been involved in multiple clinical trials related to ophthalmology. I have successfully completed the Entry Level Knowledge Assessment (ELKA) certification, as well as the NIAID Good Clinical Practice Course and the CITI Program Course for trials involving drugs. I have also gained valuable skills in communication, problem solving, and attention to detail, which enable me to perform various tasks, such as recruiting and screening participants, collecting and managing data, preparing reports and documents, and liaising with sponsors and investigators. Before joining Oculus Research, I worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Consulate of Sweden for over 8 years, where I honed my administrative and organizational skills, as well as my cultural awareness and sensitivity. For the last 2 years I have continued to help out at the Consulate on a voluntary seasonal basis. I also have a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from Appalachian State University. My mission is to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and improve the quality of life of people. I am passionate about learning new things and collaborating with diverse and talented teams.
