Research Focus: Vancomycin Dosing for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Patients- Retrospective chart review validating the neonatal intensive care unit’s empiric dosing guidelinesfor vancomycin to ensure that current formulary guidelines achieve appropriate steady statevancomycin trough levels- Conducted a literature search using Medline, Embase, and PubMed- Participated in all steps of the research process including protocol drafting, data collection, dataanalysis, manuscript writing, and information sharing via a formal presentation- Mentored a summer research student regarding literature in the field, protocol, data analysis methods, and use of the clinical software (KidCare)
