Was a part of a small trade team at the Royal Danish Embassy in Canberra, which main purpose was to establish Danish subsidiaries in Australia. • Responsibility: Industry and competitor analysis; strategy development; event planning; establishment of subsidiaries; export promotion, recruitment of new interns.• Outcome: During my stay at the Danish embassy in Australia I focused on sectors such as clean-tech, renewable energy and agriculture. I gained comprehensive knowledge of working with large multinational companies, public as well as private, across many different cultures. I assisted the Senior Commercial Officer by monitoring and analyzing business opportunities, and utilizing the extensive network of the trade council. As part of the trade council I developed new entry strategies for Danish companies aspiring to penetrate the Australian market. I assisted in the organization of roundtables and workshops in order to assemble Danish and Australian companies.
