Hello there! My name is Jannis Ebling and I am a data scientist with a strong background in both mechanical engineering and machine learning. I completed my master's degree in mechanical engineering, during which I wrote my thesis on neural networks for predicting flow variables in airfoil flow. This sparked my interest in data science, and I have since continued to expand my knowledge and skills through various certifications and online courses, including the "IBM Data Science Professional" certification and the "Azure Data Scientist Associate" certification, which I am currently preparing for. In my free time, I enjoy exploring a variety of data science topics through private projects on Kaggle and documenting them on GitHub. These projects cover a range of areas including classification, image recognition, natural language processing, and more, and help me stay up-to-date on the latest data science techniques and technologies. Additionally, I document my learning journey on Medium in the form of professional articles to help others to start their data science journey and to understand some of the more challenging concepts.
