I was a board member 2015 and continued as vice chairman during 2016. The University of Helsinki is Finland's biggest and highest ranked university. The Alumni association has over 6.000 members, including many leaders in the fields of politics, science and business. The goal is to connect people, strengthen their professional paths and promote the University of Helsinki. From 2022 I continued as a member of the delegation of the association.

This company founded by my great grandfather is operating the port in Valko, Loviisa. The turn-over is approximately 8 M€, and it is a major employer in Loviisa.

My work included analyzing and financing SME-sector businesses. I had an own portfolio of corporate clients from a wide range of fields, and was offering them everything from loans to investment products and insurances.

I served as vice president for five years, four under minister Jan-Erik Enestam and the last one under chairman Stefan Wallin. I especially concentrated on the Helsinki area and youth issues. The last two years I was the oldest of the three vice presidents and stand-in for the chairman at a wide range of different events. I also took part in the writing of several party programs as well as the government program for 2003 - 2007.
