Slashed the problem with a brand new invention.Co-author of an invention covering concept, mechanical design, 3D CAD, 3D Print, manufacturing, testing and the method for installing a fully rotational split connector for off-shore wind turbines. Used SolidEdge. Scope: connecting the different size submarine cables to those inside the windmill. Constrains: limited room for preparation and assembly. Result: a fully rotational split connector. Allows a 360° rotation of the connectors to face the operator, easing cable prep and assembling in the very small space available, reducing installation time by 25% versus the conventional method.Our invention was granted by the EU Patent Office in May 2013, published April 2016. Introduced a new production process for manufacturing copper branch connectors in one operation on a single machine, instead of 3 operations on 2 machines. The completion time for a finished product reduced by 60%, the method also drawing a quality improvement by 12%.Successfully completed Lean Manufacturing Training and a Kaizen Event task.

• Achieved a 5 stars performance rating for leading a team of 8 unskilled trainees and coaching on site in Switzerland thanks to the ability to speak German, French and Italian on professional working level and to clearly mediate the information gathered from the local specialists. • Acquired the know-how and trained the newly recruited staff, reached 75% productivity on the end of year one. Motivated and encouraged a 31 member team, hands-on coaching 13 direct reports, achieving 100% productivity by the end of year 2. • Optimized standard processes, helped with the implementation of various modifications and conversions from Swiss standards, maintained high quality requirements, trained staff on quality control methods and on how to operate the shadow-graph microscope and the CMM inspection machine for their daily routine checks.

• Managed a major Capex project for relocating the machinery from Germany to Hungary, staff training, technology coaching, implementing processes for manufacturing sewing machines. • Made several trips to Germany, working side by side with the operators in order to acquire the know how of the machinery, technology, manufacturing process and quality control methodology using CMM inspection machine for high accuracy measurements. • Designed the structural assembly of a new production hall using ProDesktop in 2 weeks. • Achieved key-start CNC production in the brand new hall, with the relocated machines, in due time and achieved the output target by the end of the first year. • conducted the up grading of the technical library in line with the new ISO system, controlled the standard components drawing and supporting information when issued to shop floor, ensuring production drawings for standard components are current and up to date, raised engineering changes notes to standard component drawings when appropriate. • Represented the company and their new products at Budapest International Fair in 2002. • Hands on contribution to introducing the revised ISO 9001 - 2000 Quality System in 2003.
