About Jan-Peter Schmidt

Seit 20 Jahren sind wir Pionier und Marktführer für den Handel mit geschlossenen Fonds an der Fondsbörse Deutschland. Aus rund 4.800 geschlossenen Fonds können Anleger bei uns Anteile erwerben oder veräußern. Dazu gehören Immobilien-, Schiffs-, Lebensversicherungs-, Private Equity- und andere Spezialfonds. Der Handel wird bei uns transparent durchgeführt, was zum einen börsenseitig mit einer Handelsüberwachung als auch zum anderen einer strengen Marktordnung gewährleistet wird.In meiner Funktion als Bereichsvorstand Private Markets bin ich seit 2022 bei der Fondsbörse Deutschland tätig. Dabei gehört es zu meinen Aufgaben, das liquide Zweitmarkt-Modell der Fondsbörse am deutschen Markt für institutionelle Investoren stärker zu etablieren. Davor habe ich bereits seit 2008 die Deutsche Zweitmarkt AG als Vorstand mit aufgebaut und das regulierte, transparente Umfeld zum Erwerb geschlossener Fonds oder alternativer Investmentfonds (AIF) am Zweitmarkt etabliert. Ein funktionierender Zweitmarkt für Spezialfonds ist nach unserer Überzeugung eine echte Win-Win-Win-Situation für alle Marktteilnehmer.
