Software602 had an interesting technology, started up the project CzechPOINT. This competition has been organized since 1996 by the Association of Innovative Entrepreneurship and is widely considered the most prestigious evaluation of technological and business innovations in the Czech market. The award was presented to the Executive Director Jan Petr by the Prime Minister Jiri Rusnok.The company Software602 is involved in the activities of ETSI or the technical committee ESI (Electr. Signatures and Infrastructures). Experts responsible for the formation of individual technical specifications and European standards (EN).Software602 is in the close partnership with universities primarily with ČVUT FEL not only in the development of cloud solutions, but also in the implementation of their own patents to secure electronic signature. In the cooperation with financial investors (3TS, PXP) the company was restored and sold to a strategic partner Austrian Chamber of Commerce - GS1 Exite.

Responsible for EDITEL, FMCG and e-Business within Deloitte. EDITEL was further developing and in 2000 Jan Petr was appointed a Partner in Deloitte for Management Consulting.Because of the Sarbanes-Oxley regulation in 2004 it was necessary to sell EDITEL.Jan Petr preferred rather "implementing" than "consulting" things and left Deloitte.

EDITEL CZ a.s. was established by several investors and owners of Software602. The company offered EDI for banks and for FMCG (retail chains and their suppliers). In 1997 achieved a turnover of 72 mil CZK (2 mil USD) and had 60 employees.In 1998 was sold to an international company Deloitte.Jan Petr went over to Deloitte to the position of Director.
