As of 2010, I became a co-leader for the Broome County Animal Response Team (BCART), Binghamton, NY, where I help to coordinate team trainings, educate people on pet preparedness in the event of a disaster, and am an animal responder (assist with the rescue and temporary sheltering of animals).
