I am an open-minded, well-structured project manager with a strong affinity for the business lines in which our company is active. After an entry-position as Problem and Change Coordinator (ideal to learn where and how to find your way in a global organisation) with ExxonMobil in Breda (and after a year in the european headquarters in Brussels), I moved abroad in order to integrate the IT-organisation of an newly acquired branch into the global ExxonMobil IT department (streamlining procedures (taking the best of both worlds), lead the local IT-department, managing local projects,...).It was at that time where I lead my first PBX replacement project (at that time still TDM-technology). Local and wide area networks became a point of interest to me.Returning back to the European Headquarters in 2005, I joined the IT project team, leading a variety of projects (network redesign and improvement projects, IPT implementation projects, backbone migrations, building expansions, integrated perimeter security project (access control, video surveillance and perimeter control (intelligent fence) in an integrated environment), ...)Worked on a Global Desktop Replacement Program from early 2009 till the end of 2011, which delivered new hard- and software (incl. OS and email) to all our business lines. Project Management as well as intercultural communication skills were key in order to get the job done in time and within budget.After being responsible for the management of IT assets in EAME (+30000 end users), including a process alignment project, implementation of uniform controls, activity centralization and key involvement in a project that will replace the toolset to manage assets effectively around the globe, I am now involved again in a global HW Refresh Project (+100k clients and related infrastructure).I enjoy managing high-impact projects in a multi-cultural, multi-timezone environment with project activities touching onshore as well as offshore locations.
