The only constant factor is change. The challenge is to keep up with what makes people happy and with new possibilities in IT without driving yourself mad by trying to keep up with every buzz word that passes.With a wide experience in IT-solutions for Insurance, Mortgage and Recruitment administrations systems and processes support, coping with buzz words and seeing the organization changes that accompanied that, I still find joy in preparing organizations for future challenges while making sure todays operations improve.I started my career as a system developer for Insurance software. I was among the first in the Netherlands to make use of internet and internet technology for insurance business purposes and for business extranets (1997) as part of creating a value chain for applications for insurance policies. Since app. the year 2000, I've been involved, as an architect, in reshaping It-environments for insurers and mortgages companies to make them future proof. Recently I implemented GDPR at my current employer, WCC, next to being part of the implementation team of our application at an international client. Off and on-site I provide support and train the business departments in exploring the opportunities for their business (governmental employment services) in how to make optimal use of our software.
