Erik takes care of all parts of the puzzle to achieve the company goals and executing the strategy. From changes in culture to Business IT models, all parts must fit together to make the new puzzle complete. Next to this Erik turns bad performing companies in the field of Business&IT into healthy well performing firms to be ready for their future. He has the ability to change complex situations, like failed projects or nonperforming Business&IT into structured and organised organisations with governance in place. He has been in turnarounds and transformations in Business&IT and finance for over twenty years and has broad experience within various industries and countries.Erik is very much appreciated for his leadership, interpersonal skills and communication styles. His approach is effective, goal-oriented and aimed at realising results through strong team performance, building relationships and networks with different cultures and stakeholders.Next to Comvertor Erik started 4 years ago his own company Vertor, in which he consulted various firms in turnarounds and transformations. He also was an interim CIO for various large enterprises in complex phases of the firm. Prior to his own firms Erik was partner at Grant Thornton and ConQuaestor Management Consulting, leading his own practice in Business IT for more than ten years, targeting the agenda of the CFO/CIO. He also worked for various IT system integrators, which he transformed to better performing companies.Erik started his career in the Caribbean/Latin America and Africa for a niche turnaround consulting firm in the hospitality industry, where he was active in different roles from finance to commercials.Erik is member of the program review board of the business IT MBA of Nyenrode Business University. He supports students in their programs in various areas.
