With over 20 years of experience in the film and visual arts industry, I am a passionate film director and script writer who specialises in documentaries, video art and fiction films. I have a strong educational background from the Academy of Visual Arts in Arnhem, Milan, and the Binger Filmlab in Amsterdam, where I honed my skills in directing, writing, and storytelling.My latest documentary, Prince of Muck, premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2021 and received international acclaim and recognition. The film explores the life and challenges of a Scottish islander who tries to preserve his traditional way of living in the face of modernization and climate change. The film was released in Dutch cinemas in 2022, shown on BBC Scotland and BBC4, and can be seen worldwide via Amazon.
