My strength is my ability to understand and put to use a broad range of technical systems. That is very useful in my work at Efteling as manager of the Technical Design department. We are a group of highly skilled technicians and illusionists with a lot of experience in this business. We help create the technical design for all new development and larger retrofits for Efteling projects. Building, BIM, theming, show&effect, electronics, automation and mechanical are our fields of interest.Efteling is going through an energy transition to be climate neutral in 2030 while expanding the park & resorts and dealing with net congestion. I help the organization to navigate these issues and to manage the different (and sometimes conflicting) aspects of these energy challenges.Efteling is an old and special place. Therefore it's technology is very diverse and there to support the wonders behind the scenes.My personal background is in Electronics. At Efteling I started to design and implement ride- and show control systems. I supported several projects as lead engineer, responsible for the technical design of Baron 1898 and Symbolica.
