A few of our duties and successes include:- Economic Development- Budget Creation & Tracking- Incubator Creation: A creative solutions brainstorm led to the need of incubators in our community to allow start-ups to blossom. We created the Nest on Foster in 2013, which is a retail incubator that has launched over 12 new businesses in our area. In 2016, we developed the Hub on Troy as a tech/design accelerator geared towards the creative class of industry. It has yielded high interest and rave reviews as Dothan’s little “slice of Google offices.”- Marketing/Events: Management of over 20 annual events such as Foster Fest, Farm 2 Fork Dinner, Poplar Head Farmer’s Market, and Downtown Christmas Festival that brings the community together for quality, family fun.
