I served as an intelligence analyst in the best Army in the world. I was given the opportunity to spend 54 months overseas conducting intelligence analysis in support of Department of Defense operations worldwide. Some of my experiences included:Coached, mentored, and evaluated up to four junior analysts. Developed assessments for mission planning in support of 62 successful operations in 21 countries while maintaining accountability and readiness of equipment such as computers, weapons, and vehicles.Prepared over 3000 written intelligence estimates and 1500 mission briefs. Guided products through rigorous internal vetting processes while meeting demanding timelines.Performed pattern analysis, time series forecasting, network analysis, and security assessments in both counter insurgency and counter terrorism operations in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.Conducted analysis with Geospatial Information System (GIS) applications such as ArcGIS, combined open source intelligence collection strategies to support operational planning.

While serving as an intelligence analyst in a direct support role to senior executives of a 10,000+ member organization, I performed research and analysis that provided timely, relevant information that effectively satisfied planning requirements. As a Knowledge Management Officer, I improved information timeliness and availability by designing and implementing a secure SharePoint Site that enabled users to pull relevant intelligence on demand using interactive maps to access clean and reliable data that resulted in a more consistent view of data enterprise wide. While supporting logistics operations across Europe, I identified sub-optimal use of analytical resources and redesigned a 10 person information workflow process that allowed for more projects to be simultaneously undertaken with no additional expense.

Helped to save lives using quantitative data analysis to predict Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonations resulting in a 60% reduction in successful attacks in a 15 month period in Salah ad Din Province, Iraq.Forecasted anti-aircraft fires to help route helicopter flights without any aircraft being downed over the course of 20,000 combat flight hours during Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a part of an operations center, I collated incoming reports, incorporated as necessary new information into running estimates and updated analytical forecasts in real-time to provide actionable intelligence in high risk and crisis scenarios.
