I help organizations focus on what’s important, set goals, and guide them to achieve them.As long as I can remember, I have loved to take creative initiatives and lead them steadfastly to have a lasting impact. I like to venture into paths that have not been tried before and give others the confidence to follow. On top of that, in both smaller and larger organizations, I am often asked to take on leadership positions, whether this was in my student years (U of Groningen and MIT), in my career, in the sectors I work in (e.g., Edana, NEVI, EU Commission expert) or sports or social circles. Career-wise, this led to creating, growing (and later selling) three successful and flourishing companies and numerous board positions.At the heart of my professional journey lies a 23-year commitment to designing and delivering software that revolutionizes procurement processes, leading to more transparent and efficient supplier selection. Both as CEO of Negometrix in the Netherlands and later as President of Mercell USA (New York), I have led a transformative strategy in digitalizing procurement.Currently, I am a mentor and active investor (1-90%) in startup and scale-up companies such as Dextrsoft, Congotech, Askemo, Mart-Club, and Nicolab. I am open to a board position that see value in someone like me.
